The meeting was called to order by Barb Geigle at 7:40 with 22 in attendance. The Minutes of the November meeting were handed out with the agenda.

Linda Sensenig reported a balance of $7,030.66. She received $25 from the Cub Scouts for the program Bret gave.

Sky Report:  Uranus and Neptune are visible at sunset; Saturn rises around 7:30 pm and at 2:00 am Jupiter rises. Mars and Venus can be seen at sunrise. The winter constellations are now in good viewing position in the early evening. The Geminid Meteor Shower peaks December 13. Gemini will be overhead around midnight, but watch for earth grazers from about 5 to 7 pm as Gemini rises. Mars will occult 10.2 magnitude star TYC 6174-00681 early on December 11

Old Business:  No recent events have taken place.

 Upcoming Events and New Business:  The next BCAAS meeting will be January 13; the program will be announced. The coming year’s officers were elected: Dave Brown – President; Bret Cadmus – Vice President; Linda Sensenig – Treasurer; and Barb Geigle – Secretary. Thanks to our election committee, Barry Shupp and Paul Becker.

Some terrific food and conversation followed the meeting.
